We are extremely proud to have been awarded the Gold Level Healthy Heart Award by the Heart Foundation.

The Pa - harakeke Award - provides recognition of the preschool's flourishing nutritional and physical activity environment, the impact of which extends beyong the immediate setting into the wider community.

The modules we had to achieve were based on physical goals and various cooking activities by the children and education given to children and their families about healthy lifestyles.

Lions Club of Malvern - We provided the food and some prizes for the golf Tournament held at Hororata Golf Club on Wednesday 11th May. All funds raised will come to us to help towards our vision to build a new preschool.

BikeWise Week 15 - 19 March 2010

Our Trikathon

A BIG thank you to everyone who sponsored the children for Trikathon - we raised a whopping $750.00.

In total, the children completed ?? laps of our bike circuit - some biked, some triked, some scooted - whichever way they wanted.

We will let you know how we spent the money.

Malvern A&P Show 27 March 2010

Did you meet Esmerelda at the show - showing off lots of the children's fantastic art work.

We also hosted our child changing and feeding tent - thanks to our volunteers.

Maybe we'll see you at the Courteney A&P Show later in the year - we'll be there with our tent again.
